Nuzzle
A tiny pixel pet that comes out to play on your Mac.
A pixel-art pet that lives in your menu bar and pops out to play: it peeks from the notch, strolls along your windows, chases butterflies and fetches the ball you throw. Six pets, four coats each. Made for my son.

Features
Six pets, four coats each
A mouse, cat, hamster, bunny, hedgehog or dog. Give yours a name, or press Shuffle for a new visitor every time.
It finds the fun spots
It hangs from the notch, strolls along the top of your windows, naps on the Dock and peeks out of holes.
Treats and cuddles
Drop a snack and watch it munch. Rest your cursor on your pet to make it purr, or pick it up and carry it around.
Fetch and chase
Throw a ball and your pet brings it back to your cursor. It chases butterflies too, and comes running when you call.
You choose how often it visits
Often, sometimes (about every 10 minutes) or rarely. Pause it, or keep it out to play for a while.
How it works
- Nuzzle lives in your menu bar as a small paw print.
- Every so often your pet pops out for a short visit, then scampers back into hiding.
- Open the menu to play a scene, throw a ball, give a treat or keep your pet out to play.
FAQ
Will it get in the way of my work?
No. Visits are short, and you choose how often they happen. You can also pause Nuzzle at any time from the menu bar.
Does it read what's on my screen?
No. Nuzzle only reads where your windows are (their position and size) so its pet knows where to peek and stroll. It never reads window titles or what's inside them, and that information never leaves your Mac.
I can't see the paw print. Where is it?
Other menu bar icons or the notch may be covering it. Hold ⌘ and drag menu bar icons to make room.
Does it need an account?
No accounts and no tracking.
